Bristol Basement Gets Extreme Storm Damage with Sewage

When SERVPRO techs arrived on-site at this Bristol home, storm damage left standing water in this basement. Upon testing the techs determined sewage was present in the water and use disinfectants during the extraction process to make the water safer to handle. The only items on the concrete floor were a plastic basket and a roll of memory foam which was one of the few things requiring disposal. Anything non-porous that comes into contact with this water generally has good restoration potential. The techs dried the area and then performed the needed odor control to neutralize the remaining residual odors to remove all traces of the previous water issues.
