Come out and donate at the Blood Drive

SERVPRO of Bristol is sponsoring a blood donation drive on Saturday, October 30, 2021. The event will be held at the Burlington Town Hall located at 200 Spielman Highway in Burlington. The drive kicks off at 8 am and runs until 1 pm. For appointments, they can be booked online at redcrossblood.org and use Sponsor Code: Burlington, CT.

The blood drive is a community event to honor Colin McFadden, 26. He served as a Burlington volunteer firefighter and was a member of the Bristol CERT Team. As a local Bristol-area resident, he enjoyed supporting his community as a first responder. Colin passed away shortly after collapsing from undiagnosed leukemia during a fire service call on August 12, 2021. SERVPRO of Bristol wanted to honor his service by sponsoring a blood drive.

The team at SERVPRO of Bristol is proud to support the local area with restoration services and elevating awareness for important events that benefit community members, such as this drive to celebrate the life of Colin McFadden with the gift of life through blood donations.
